Welcome
As any woman that is 30-something or beyond knows, sharing our stories with the sympathetic ears of our female compadres can be cathartic and empowering. The 30-Something Rebel Project was created to give women a virtual space to share their stories.
Sometimes we feel like the only person in the world who is struggling with a particular issue. When one of our sisters shares her story of a similar struggle we often breathe a sigh of relief. We feel validated. We finally realize that we are not alone.
Adventures of a 30-Something Rebel will give women who have experienced a period of earth-shattering change and growth in their 30s - what others in your life may have considered a delayed rebellion - a place to share their stories.
After experiencing a life-changing, turbulent period in her early 30s, Samara Leigh discovered that many other women reported a very similar experience. While the results were very different for each of the women, the root cause was usually the same. Frustration. Whether it was frustration with the state of our lives; disappointment over abandoned dreams; or the desire for something more, this period of our lives led us on an unexpected road.
Some made great achievements. Others reaped bitter results. All of us learned important lessons. Lessons that have changed our lives and can change the lives of others. Would you like to share your 30 Something Rebel experience? Review our Submission Guidelines here. Then email your story to Submissions (at) 30SomethingRebel (dot) com for consideration. Outstanding stories will be shared on our website to inspire and teach other women, whether they be in their teens, 20s, 30s, 40s or beyond.
